How to introduce new attribute to SP

Modify AAP.xml and add the entry accordingly. 

<AttributeRule Name="urn:mace:federation.org.au:fancy-colour" Header="Fed-Fancy-Colour" Alias="FancyColour">
   <AnySite>
      <AnyValue/>
   </AnySite>
</AttributeRule>

The above introduce a Fed-Fancy-Colour to the application (as header) or FancyColour? in apache (as alias).
